Science Communication in Practice: Meeting People Where They Are
Effective science communication isn't just about sharing facts—it's about meeting people where they are. In this workshop, science communicator and community organizer Ive Velikova explores how social, cultural, and political contexts shape how audiences engage with science and health information. Through real-life case studies, we’ll examine strategies for in-person and online science communication in environmental, medical, and other fields. Whether you’re a researcher, educator, or health professional, you’ll leave with practical tools to make your science communication more relevant, accessible, and impactful.
