Medical writing is a growing and multifaceted part of science communication. This session offers an unfiltered look at what medical writers do, the audiences they support, and the skills that matter in the role. We’ll also cover practical ways to break into the field, including how to spot entry‑level opportunities and start connecting with organizations that work with medical writers. A short activity will help you reflect on your own strengths and interests to see whether medical writing might be a good fit for you.
Are you a non-member of SWCC registering for this event? If you decide to become a member of SWCC within 2 weeks of the event date, your membership fee (in the applicable category) will be discounted by the amount you paid for event registration.
