St. Andrew's Tour

Join us for a day trip to St. Andrews, New Brunswick to visit the St. Andrew’s Biological Research Station (operated by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans) and the Huntsman Marine Science Centre.
Ticket Price: Guided Tour $65 (This ticket includes transportation and lunch); Self-Guided Tour $50 (This ticket only gets you a seat on the bus to and from St. Andrew's)

The St. Andrews Biological Station is Atlantic Canada’s oldest permanent marine research facility. Science conducted at the Biological Station encompasses the Bay of Fundy, Gulf of Maine, and coastal ecosystems and traditional fisheries in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Participants will learn about the facility and hear about on site research on topics such as climate change, oceanography, and marine biodiversity.
The Huntsman Marine Science Centre is a not-for-profit social enterprise with a mission to conduct world-class aquatic research. The Huntsman is open to the public, welcoming approximately 30,000 visitors each year. The Huntsman maintains a working, sustainable waterfront that is central to the educational programming it provides for children and adults, and the various types of contract research it conducts for the private sector. A tour of this facility will include a visit to the Fundy Discovery Aquarium, and opportunities to see and hear about the research conducted on site at the Huntsman from the herring fishery to the chemical spill lab that studies microplastics and chemical and oil spills, and much more!
