The SWCC ran the People's Choice Awards from 2018 - 2020. These pages present awards information from those competitions.

The People’s Choice Award for Canada’s Fave Science Online was born in 2016 and ran for three years, until 2019. Its goal was to generate excitement and interest in Canada’s online science community and to celebrate science presented in digital formats on Canadian sites.

Starting as a collaboration with Science Borealis, this award had one objective: to find Canada's favourite science site or blog! The award has changed a lot over the years, but we were proud to host it.

For all nominees and winners, this award was about promotion through our digital platforms, exposure to 1000+ voters and bragging rights.
