People's Choice Awards - ARCHIVED

The People’s Choice Award for Canada’s Fave Science Online was born in 2016 and ran for three years, until 2019. Its goal was to generate excitement and interest in Canada’s online science community and to celebrate science presented in digital formats on Canadian sites.

Starting as a collaboration with Science Borealis, this award had one objective: to find Canada's favourite science site or blog! The award has changed a lot over these past few years, but we are proud to host it.

For all nominees and winners, this award is about promotion through our digital platforms, exposure to 1000+ voters and bragging rights.

  • A nominee list of Canadian websites is compiled with input from both our membership and those who follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Voting Period

  • Our team will create a shortlist of 10 Nominees and open the polls for voting.

  • Once the voting period closes, we notify the finalists and send digital badges that you can add to your blogs or sites.
